This a tale of two ‘Toos who are bonded together by both chain and destiny and who will always look to the other for companionship. They come in the form of a chatelaine pin, crafted of magnificent proportions and created of silver toned metal. Each bird measures 2.5” tall and 1.75” wide and is excellently detailed – you can even see the lines in their feathers. The entire piece is approx. 9.5” when stretched out and features a double chain. A simple hook clasp on the back attests to their age as does the slight but pleasing patina to the metal. Unmarked but heavy and very well made with evident charm and attention to detail. Certain to be rare, perhaps one-of-a-kind or artisan made.
