Carnival Prize Celluloid Cockatoo Pin

A Cockatoo pin that’s a REAL prize! Given away at carnivals in the 1950’s and 60’s, celluloid plastic pins like this little ‘Too were once quite common but are now much less so. Seemingly a bit on the shy side this particular Parrot has weathered the years well and is still bright of paint and without flaws. He measures 2” in length, 1 1/8” in width and has a simple “c” clasp on the back with “Japan” stamped on it. A fun fellow for hats, scarves, purses and lapels that’s light of weight but heavy on charm.
