While Parrots in chains have gone the way of Victorian virtues today we have a reemergence of sorts, for here is a pair of psittacines who are willing to hang about all day (and into the night) chained to each other and you. They dangle from a lariat necklace, formed of a delicate, golden colored chain and culminating in jade colored balls. The metal Parrots are at the end (or the beginning, depending on your point of view) of each strand and have a bit of green and blue enamel on their tails. The necklace is both versatile and in wonderful condition, measuring 34.25” in length from Parrot to Parrot. The birds are seen visiting their French friend, an antique Limoges vase available at www.antiquebeak.com, item #ab6154.
