If you love Lovebirds (and who can resist a face like theirs?) then this vintage scarf is a MUST have! Front and (almost) center is a flock of eight, seemingly innocent of expression but almost certainly guilty in deed (they ARE Lovebirds, after all…..) To the left are two more birds of love, smaller in stature but just as cute. The flock is presented on a background of black and shown amid exotic blooms and grasses of green. The scarf is made of a lightweight shiny material (Rayon?) which measures 43” x 35.5” and features hand sewn edges. Both its size and white border in the middle make this a grand piece for doubling as a tablecloth, not to mention a splendid wall hanging, or perhaps shown on the back of the sofa. It is in good condition with no holes or tears but I have noted a flaw in the material (see pic) as well as some white, pinpoint sized dots near the top that may have been part of the printing process. Unmarked but well made and vividly colored. Yep, if you love Lovebirds then you can’t go wrong with this!
