Ooh-la-la! A crested creature of culture and class, this pin from France is the perfect companion for Deco divas and drama queens. Drama is a given when this Cockatoo is taken out, with its sterling personality and sparking, marcasite stones. The diva will appreciate its textured details and the Deco lover its polished, black stone. It’s an old piece with a clasp that defies description (so take a look at the pic) measuring 2.25” in length and 1” in width, and has a nice weight for its size. I noticed one small stone is missing on its wing, but it’s one among many and it takes some looking to notice it. The pin bar also has some slight bends, especially on the end (see pic) but it doesn’t effect the operation. Marked “925” and “Sterling” on the back, proof positive that this ‘Too is not only cute – it’s precious!
